Available with a Regular Cab, Super Cab or Double Cab configuration, the Ford Ranger is a multi-purpose pick-up that’s ready for whatever you throw at it. Choose the XL or XLT specification if you require a workhorse that’ll get the job done, or upgrade to Limited or Wildtrak specification if you want added luxury. XLT models and upwards come as standard with a driver-selectable 4WD system with low range. Stylish and tough, the Ford Ranger gets an 8” touchscreen with SYNC 3 in Limited specification, and a rear-view camera and advanced ambient lighting plus more great features in Wildtrak specification.
A raised ride height, muscular bodywork, flared arches, chunky wheels and all-terrain tyres combine to create the most powerfully-styled Ford to date. Inside, leather upholstery comes as standard with Limited models, while Wildtrak models get advanced ambient lighting.
Powered by your choice of a 2.2 or 3.2-litre TDCi engine, the Ford Ranger is a powerful performer with a driver-selectable 4WD system fitted as standard on Super Cab and Double Cab models. You can also spec an automatic gearbox.
4x4 versions can tow a braked trailer up to 3.5-tonnes. The Double Cab has seating for five, while the Super Cab has temporary rear seating. The Regular Cab has the biggest load bed, with dimensions of 2317 x 1560 x 511 (length-width-depth).
Living with it
With a single tank of diesel, the Ranger offers over 450-miles of range. Fuel economy of 31.7 to 43.5mpg combined ensures low running costs, and all models get a variety of useful features as standard, such as a Quickclear heated windscreen.
