Ford Mondeo Hybrid
MAXIMUM EFFICIENCY IN MOTION
Enjoy the refinement of Mondeo.
Embrace the efficiency of a hybrid.
The Ford Mondeo Hybrid has a state of the art self-charging system which means that there is no need to plug in to re-charge. The system is always is working to deliver CO2 of just 92g/km and a combined fuel economy of over 70 miles per gallon.
The best of both worlds
With the Ford Mondeo Hybrid you get the best of petrol and electric power combined. A powerful, responsive and highly efficient 2-0 litre petrol engine has been specially designed for the Mondeo Hybrid, and is designed to take you on longer journeys. For shorter journeys (and at lower speeds) an advanced electric motor takes over – its energy drawn from a particularly light lithium-ion battery with a power consumption of 1.4 kWh. And to make the whole system even more efficient, Regenerative Braking captures up to 90% of energy normally lost through friction brakes, then recycles it to recharge the high-voltage battery.
Designed to reduce emissions to save fuel and money
Cutting edge design, technology and engineering maximises the benefits of a Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV). Smart technology even learns when it’s best to switch from petrol to electric. For example, when you’re close to home. The result is smooth responsive performance, an exhilarating driving experience and combined fuel consumption of only 4.0 l / 100 km*.
Available in model range: Zetec, Titanium, ST-Line Editions.
