Tour De Yorkshire 2018
Tour De Yorkshire 2018 - 3rd to 6th May
The 2018 race will take place across Yorkshire and have eight start and finishing locations.
Stage 1: The starting location is Beverley, a market town both blissful and beautiful founded around 700 AD by Saint John of Beverley. The finishing location Doncaster which has traditionally been one of the key routes of northern England; with the original Great North Road from London going through the heart of the town.
Stage2: The starting location Barnsley, originally mentioned in the Domesday Book, Barnsley’s historic roots are easily spotted with castles and heritage centre’s cataloguing the South Yorkshire town’s place in history. The finishing location is Ilkley which is renowned for its fresh air, moorland and landscape.
Stage 3: Starting location is Richmond, the peloton will roll out of Richmond on Saturday taking some of Yorkshire’s finest market towns. The finishing location is in Scarborough, the original seaside resort and with its stunning scenery. Stage 3 will see the race finish here for the third time.
Stage 4: The final stage will leave Halifax, the impressive Piece Hall on Sunday, to take in some of the toughest climbs, named the Yorkshire Terrier. The race will finish in the historic heart of Leeds, the city that hasn’t stood still, compact but accessible to every form of culture.

3 Routes: Date: Sunday 6th May 2018 Leeds to Leeds
